About Nicole
Sunny doesn’t just describe the company; it describes the woman behind it. Nicole McGarrell is the Founder/CEO of Sunny Day Marketing, and for over two decades she’s brought her insight, as well as bright and persistent demeanor to every client she’s faced, and every company she’s worked for.
This native and proud Brooklynite understands the agency-client relationship because she’s worked on both sides. However, it was her desire for a life of entrepreneurship that led her to take a leap of faith, and start her own business. Today, Sunny Day Marketing stands as an advocate for businesses and organizations that are passionate about the work they do, and the people they impact.
Over the course of her career, Nicole has worked with Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and nonprofits alike. Her portfolio includes Support Center For Nonprofit Management, Flatbush Nostrand Junction Business Improvement District, Food Network, American Express, and the City of New York, just to name a few. This varied background has shaped a specialized expertise that lends to a solution-oriented experience for her clients – no matter what the problem is.
As a public speaker, Nicole continues to advocate for purpose-driven organizations and entrepreneurship. She has been honored by the BCC and the Office of The Public Advocate of the City of New York for her significant contributions to the community. She’s also served as a mentor for the City of New York’s Woman Entrepreneurs (WENYC) initiative and Co-Chair for the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Young BK Professionals committee. Currently, she is a member of the Association of Nonprofit Specialists, where she co-founded and now leads their Marketing Circle committee.
Additionally, Sunny Day Marketing is proudly certified as a Minority and Women-Owned (MWBE) business.
